Tomato Rasam

Ingredients 
Tomato -2 (paste)
Water-1&1/2 cup
Garlic-4
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1/3 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/3 tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Asafoetida -A pinch
Chilly powder-1/2 tsp
Red chilies whole-3
Curry leaves -10
Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves-for garnish
Oil-2 tbsp
Salt-To taste

Method

1.Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan add oil once the oil is hot add mustard seeds ,cumin seeds,red chilies ,garlic and curry leaves in slow flame fry it.
2. Then add all dry spices  fry it well,do not let it burn
3.Now add the tomato paste and salt cook till the raw smell goes.
4.Add the water and let it cook till a boil in slow flame.
5.Garnish with coriander leaves.


Tips : You can adjust the water consistency according to you .
Taste best when served with rice and fish fry.dry fish fry/chicken fry.
