Mutton Fry

INGREDIENTS

Mutton - 1Kg

For marination 

Cinnamon - 3 sticks
Cloves - 6
Chilly powder - 21/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Peppercorn - 1 tsp
Ginger - 2 inch piece
Garlic pods - 6 nos
Shallots - 8 nos
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Coconut oil-3 tsp
Salt - According to taste

For seasoning
Onion - 1nos(big)
Green chillies - 3 nos

For garnish
Some fried curry leaves
Some coriander leaves.


Make a paste of above ingredients.Now add this paste to the mutton, add salt and marinate for 2 hours. If you want to marinate overnight you can as mutton will absorb all species within and will taste good.

Add 2tsp of coconut oil in a pressure cooker once it is hot add the  marinated mutton. Fry for  10 minutes till the raw smell leaves. Now cook for 4-5 whistles to come.

Once the pressure is gone cook it till it dries with open lid. Turn off the gas and keep its aside.

In another pan add the remaining coconut oil once it is hot add a pinch of  salt then add onionsand green chillies. Fry the onions till brown. 

Now add the mutton fry for 5 minutes.Garnish with some fried curry leaves or coriander leaves or both
Yup.....its ready to serve
